In this unit, we're going to look at the importance of how the rights that you have in policy or law are applied in practice. 
​Just because you have a right to something in policy does not always mean you experience that right in your daily life, so many people have worked to make sure that these legal rights are actually carried out. 
 
​

At the end of this unit, you will be able to:  
  • Recognise how the law is not always applied in practice  
  • Understand how you can challenge this if you see it happening  
  • Tell others about the campaigns covered in the unit
